It's been over two years since I last posted/checked anything on this site. I've definitely been on a hiatus of sorts... it's been a bit of a struggle, but it's all been worthwhile: sifting through the ^static... growing, learning, creating. I've been focusing on my jewelery for some time now, and I'm enjoying it tremendously.

Harlow In Chains by Jeni Jaques - I create pieces for that girl who loves her glamour with a side of edge and irreverence. I love celebrating the distinctions that keep us individual and therefore will never stray from creating one of a kind pieces. The line focuses on the re-purposing of vintage and antique items; bringing these items together and re-interpreting these pieces in a modern way. It's beyond bringing the energy of the past into the present... I love  the energy of items which were once special, and have since been forgotten. They always have a story to tell, and it's always a mystery... the bonus is that the line is very eco-friendly as well. Saving otherwise discarded items from the landfill. I rarely use commercial supplies in my work... whenever possible, my pieces are comprised entirely of vintage and/or antique items. Soup to nuts.

Spring is here! I can't stress enough just how glorious I feel come spring... new life, new fashion, estate sales and the like... all comes alive and everything seems to be full of hope and renewal. I'm currently flooded with inspiration and energy. Travel, excitement and limitless possibilities are on the horizon!

New boutique opportunities are in place - some wonderfully unique shops are interested in housing my designs! At the moment, some Harlow In Chains pieces have found a home at the Sayville Antiques Center  in Sayville, NY! Next time you're on the island, stop by!
